Refund Policy

Ecom for Dummies sells digital products. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through ecomfordummies.com. By purchasing, you agree to the terms below.

30-Day Refund Window

Ecom for Dummies offers a thirty (30) day refund window on The Conversion Playbook. If the product does not work for you, email us within 30 days of your purchase date and we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method. No surveys. No "winback" attempts.

Refund requests submitted after the 30-day window has expired cannot be processed for any reason, including but not limited to: forgetting about the product, changes in your business circumstances, or dissatisfaction discovered after the window closes. The 30-day window is firm and not subject to extension.

How to Request a Refund

Email hello@ecomfordummies.com within 30 days of the original purchase date. Include: (a) the email address used at checkout, (b) the approximate purchase date, and (c) the word "refund" in the subject line or body. We do not require you to justify your request.

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and process the refund within 5 business days of acknowledgment. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take up to an additional 10 business days to appear on your statement.

What Happens After a Refund

The Conversion Playbook is a digital product delivered electronically. We do not require you to delete or "return" the downloaded files because we have no technical means to verify deletion. Your license to use the product (as granted in our Terms of Service) terminates automatically upon refund. Continued use of the product after a refund constitutes a material breach of these policies and our Terms of Service, and may result in legal action to recover damages and costs.

Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund if all of the following are true:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.

  • You purchased directly from ecomfordummies.com (not from a third party, reseller, or affiliate).

  • You have not previously received a refund for the same product.

  • You have not violated our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or the license grant.

Refund Restrictions

We reserve the right to deny a refund request, in our sole discretion, in the following circumstances:

  • Evidence of fraudulent purchase activity (e.g., stolen card, identity theft).

  • Evidence that the buyer has redistributed, resold, posted publicly, or otherwise infringed our intellectual property.

  • Pattern of serial refunding across our products or related products.

  • Refund requests originating from disposable or temporary email addresses.

  • Buyers who have previously been refunded and re-purchased the same product.

Denial of a refund does not waive any other rights or remedies available to us under law.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your credit card company, bank, or payment processor without first contacting us at hello@ecomfordummies.com and giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, you forfeit your right to the standard refund process. We may, at our sole discretion:

  • Dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery and prior communications.

  • Terminate your license to the product and disable access to any related accounts.

  • Pursue recovery of bank fees, processor fees, and reasonable attorney's fees associated with the chargeback.

  • Add your contact information to industry fraud-prevention databases.

Filing a chargeback after receiving a refund, or filing duplicate chargebacks, is fraud and will be reported to law enforcement.

European Union & United Kingdom Customers

If you are purchasing from within the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) or equivalent UK law. However, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content where performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

By purchasing The Conversion Playbook, you (a) expressly consent to immediate access to the digital content upon payment, and (b) acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once download access is granted. Our voluntary 30-day refund policy above remains available to you regardless of this waiver.
